Not in good order (NIGO) resolutions

Symetra will review new business paperwork for “in good order” requirements. If it is determined to be NIGO, Symetra will email the financial professional via Adobe Sign.

Adobe Sign will allow you to make necessary updates electronically, and deliver documents to clients for validation and electronic signature. Clients will return the updated documents to you to sign and return to Symetra for final processing.


In-force processing

To electronically submit in-force transaction requests, email Priority.Service@symetra.com.

e-Signature capabilities

In addition to NIGO resolutions, Symetra is expanding our support of electronically signed business to include new business applications and some in-force transactions.

To implement an eSignature solution, we request a description of your firm’s eSignature authentication process and confirmation of the ability to provide geolocation metadata or form of completion certification. Symetra’s approved eSignature vendors include DocuSign, eSignlive/OneSpan, SIGNiX, Firelight, Topaz, Adobe and Alpha Trust.

Note: We may also need to amend your selling agreement with our standard eSignature amendment.
